A weekly contemplative letter to encourage reflection and brighten your Monday.

written with love by Joyce Elizabeth from Brooklyn, NY

Let's be pen pals. :)

I've loved writing since childhood, and letter writing might be my favorite form. There's something so beautifully personal about a single well-written letter that hundreds of carefully crafted text messages can't quite capture. So, during a big transition period in my late twenties, I decided to start writing weekly letters, first and foremost, for myself. I'd be honored to have you read along. I don't have strict guidelines for these letters other than there will always be a book recommendation and a Rumi quote. What more could you ask for?

Everything else is a free-for-all, though they will always be written from a place of love (which I've found to be the most important thing).

“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”

— Rumi
